Ashton and I stumbled upon a local golf course hosting a big firework display so got to chill out there.

 

Speaking of fireworks, let's dive into the funnel and marketing fireworks I've found for you this week...

2. MARKETING TIP OF THE WEEK: SHOWCASE HOW FRICTIONLESS YOUR PRODUCT IS

3. COMMUNITY MEMBER TIP: A CONTEST LED TO 3K+ NEW USERS

Stefan Savevski is building a platform called CryptEarn that connects Web3 gaming investors and gamers. Think of it as the marketplace for Web3 gaming.


He and his team created a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and then ran a competition to get lots of early users and valuable feedback.


Here's how they did it:


"Here's our road to getting 3K+ Web3 native users for our MVP in five weeks!


The contest


We had a small community on Discord with about 800 people, and we started a referral contest. The person with the most referrals would win a reward. The results shocked us! Within a week, our community grew to 3.4K members, which is when we revealed the MVP.


On the first day, we had more signups than we thought we'd get, and our website broke down. We fixed it immediately and saw how users interacted with the MVP.


By the first week, we had 120 new users. We got these users organically by connecting with a community manager who liked our idea and offered to help us find our first users.


By the second week, we had 518 users. For the second week, we tested the power of referrals and word-of-mouth. We gamified the process of interacting with CryptEarn and asking for feedback by introducing tasks. It worked and got us more users.


Next, we offered a 30-cent signup bonus through Jumptask, a Web3 platform with 6M+ users. That took us to over 3K.


Troubleshooting


Here are some of our behind-the-scenes adventures:


- Our referral contest got botted, and we had to disqualify and ban members.

- Users tried to abuse our platform to get the most points.

- We did 130+ meetings to explain our idea, ask for feedback, and see how users interact with the website in real time.

- We spent the first week of our launch waking up every 15 minutes to help onboard users and resolve support tickets.

Feedback is worth more than gold. Invest in getting quality feedback, and you'll be in great shape!"

If you have just launched a new product and want to get lots of valuable reviews and feedback, a competition could be just what you need!

 

 

 

4. FUNNEL OF THE WEEK: COFFEE FUNNEL DOMINATING CLICKBANK

The funnel this week is at the top of the ClickBank leaderboard right now meaning it is converting like crazy!

 

The average commission per conversion is $146.85 so they're clearly doing something right.

5. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: 3-STEP STORYTELLING TACTIC

"Storytelling is a skill that anyone can learn. I love this 3-step "U-shaped" process from Robbie Crab:

1. Begin with what's in your head - Every story begins with a natural and sloppy rendition.

2. Write it down and edit it - This step is tedious and makes you sound rehearsed, but it's required.

3. Practice it and tailor it to your audience - With enough practice, you'll be able to deliver your story in a more natural and polished way."
