FBM Digest #48: A viral ad to hack, new must-use event ad option, and more...

Hey, the weekend is upon us. Here are 5 golden nuggets I found this week for you to dive into...

Eduardo Beltran, one of our funnel and marketing experts, was asked to speak at a summit recently and shared something with the audience that I had to share with you.

If you have ever found yourself stuck on what to do to make your business more successful or even just get it making regular sales, Eduardo has created a cheatsheet that will help.

By pinpointing what you have, the cheatsheet will show you what you can offer and the fastest path to getting success. Take a look and start walking that path today:

Eduardo helps businesses all around the world with their funnels and marketing (he has a few interesting businesses himself and he also speaks 6 languages!).

If you'd like his guidance and input on your funnels, marketing, or business in general, he is offering two of his services for just $5 each, so he can build reviews.

Take a look at them here and grab this offer while you can because you will be very glad you did!

When thinking about your next social media post or ad, consider this one below because it has the potential to drive engagement through the roof:

The idea is to create a competition offering something your audience wants. But to win it, they have to comment on your post and get 0 likes.

This type of post creates a comment and like frenzy because everyone that wants one comments, and everyone else likes their comment so they don't win!

This one simple idea led to these results:

The signed Lionel Messi shirt competition led to 2 million likes and 574k new followers...

The $400 phone competition received 5.2 million views...

The Tesco meal deal offer received 136k retweets...

If you run this for your business, let me know, and I'll share it in the next newsletter!

Another tip for social media. This one is just as big.

If you run events such as webinars or challenges, Instagram's new ad option could be a game changer for you...

They're called Reminder Ads.

Instead of interested parties clicking the ad, going to your landing page, and opting in, they get the option of telling Instagram to remind them of the event...

When a user opts in via the CTA, they’ll then receive three subsequent notifications of that event, with the first coming a day before, then another 15 minutes ahead of the start time, with a final alert as it begins.

If this has the same impact to open and ctr rates as messenger has vs email, this could drive registrations and attendance to your next event up considerably!

Have you heard of Tyson Durfey? Tyson is a World Champion cowboy and spoke at FHL live last year.

Here is the funnel for a challenge Tyson is running:

Here's the funnel

As always, let me know your thoughts. What would you test, what are you going to hack?

Also, we may have an event where we roast the funnel live so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

"There isn't any significant difference between the various brands of whiskey, or cigarettes or beer. They are all about the same. And so are the cake mixes and the detergents, and the margarines. The manufacturer who dedicates his advertising to building the most sharply defined personality for his brand will get the largest share of the market at the highest profit."

Have a great weekend,
